O'Natural - Eye shadow

So, I've bin wanting to do an eye tutorial like post for a while now but to be honest I'm by far not the best at applying eye make-up. Its something I really want to be good at so I'm taking the phrase 'practise makes perfect' under my wing and that's exactly what I'm going to do. I started by just watching videos on YouTube and step by step I taught myself. I'm still no eye make-up fanatic but I'm a lot better then I was. This is a small tutorial of a sort of natural look I created and wear every day.
Modelled by Leia Barlow @ leiajadebarlow.blogspot.co.uk.

 Products I used.

Due to the fact that Leia and I are only in our early teens we don't usually apply foundation on a day-to-day basis, simply because we don't really need that much coverage (if we do feel like we need any we use concealer). Anyway the primers that we both own all have a tint to them that we didn't really want so instead of primer we used creamy eye shadow. Which in my opinion is just as good. After that I used a slightly pink eye shadow from my 'The Colour Workshop' pallet and applied it to Leia's brow bone. Then using a smudger brush I applied to Leia's lid a cream colour with a slight shimmer from my Technic pallet, I covered the whole lid with this. Using the other side of my smudger I selected a copper colour from the same Technic pallet and applied that to the outer corner of Leia's eye, I went slightly higher then the cream colour and overlapped the cream a bit at the top.

This is what Leia's eyes looked like at this stage

Next using a blending brush I blended the two colours together, where they meet in the middle and blended the copper colour out at the corners, I did this so that Leia's eyes didn't look so 'block like' and that they looked a lot smoother and faded.

Leia's eyes after blending, I think it looks not as bold but still effective.

Finally I filled in Leia's eyebrows with a dark brown eye brow cake, applied liquid liner to her top eyelid, curled her eyelashes then applied mascara. Just to finish it all off.

Leia's finished look.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach

So, I went to Blackpool pleasure beach with my friends, which if any of you didn't know its a theme park in Blackpool, next to the beach. Its home to the biggest and fastest ride in Europe, the Pepsi-Max. Plus many other amazing rides. When I went there it was a rainy day which may sound unlucky but it turned out lucky for us because that meant it wasn't that busy and we could get on rides faster. Whilst we were there we managed to go on all the rides we wanted to and still have time to go on some of them again!

We didn't spend anytime on the smaller rides, we headed straight for the big ones.
I have been Blackpool quite a few times before because its only an hour drive away from where i live and plan on going again. I plan on blogging more about the rides next time though.

These are just a few random photos that we took whilst there. I forgot to take some of the rides which I should have done  but at the time i hadn't planned on blogging about it. I hope these will make do there slightly more personal but all took at Blackpool and show how much fun we all had.

It was a great day out and recommend it to anybody that enjoys rides, entertainment or just a fun day out really. Its also suitable for all ages.

Hope you enjoyed reading!

Tutti Fruity Ex-foliating Bath Set

So here goes my first post about a product. This is a product that I received as a gift at Christmas, one that I enjoyed and benefited from so I went out and bought another. Its called Tutti Fruity Ex-foliating Bath Set and the clues in the name its an ex-foliating bath set! Ex-foliating bath sets have never really interested me before but I defenatlly want to get some more and hopefully they will be as good as the I have at the moment!

Exfoliating is when you get rid of the dead or dry skin cells, describig it like that makes it sound painfull but its not. You gently use the products in the same way you would use soap or shower gel it just does alot more for you and your skin.

Tutti Fruity exfoliating bath set (sorry about the sticker mark)

Inside the set is a 150ml Body Wash, 50ml Body Lotion, 50ml Body Scrub and a 100% nylon glove to use in the bath.

Body wash

I use the body wash when in the bath and for me it just acts just like an ordinary body wash does in aspects of cleaning (not very helpful I know). When it comes to smell its by far my best body wash! Its so fresh and fruity everything that i want from a body wash really.

Body Lotion

The Body lotion is a good all rounder I think, it hydrates, smoothens and leave my skin smelling as good as the Body Wash does (both smelling reasonably the same with them being from the same set). I don't apply the body lotion daily i only apply it after my baths or showers (every other day) because I feel that is when it works at its best helping lock in the moisture. I only use the Body Lotion on my legs ad i feel that it lasts until the next time I have a bath or shower because it keeps my skin VERY soft. I have been using this product (not this exact one) since christmas now and I've never had to apply it more then once every two days thats why i haven't changed my body lotion ad ive stuck with this one.

Body Scrub

Next is the Body Scrub which i actually use for my face round about once a month, nothing to do with the product itself i just prefer to only use a scrub once or twice a month. Even though i only use it ocationally i still feel that i benifit from it and like the others it leaves my skin feeling soft and fresh.

Glove

I honestly can't give my opinion on the glove because I haven't even tried it out and don't plan on neither. Simply because I don't really like the feel of it and I have quite sensitive skin so i think the texture of the glove, which is quite rough, would just damage my skin which is the opposite of what i want. I know by doing this I'm probably ruling out the whole point of exfoliating but i still use and enjoy all of the other products.

First post, start of something new?

So after looking at many blogs I have finally decided to make my own and I've got to say its a lot easier then I thought it would be and overall, so far its a lot of FUN!

I have mainly decided to make a blog just to put my opinion across on things and share my views :)

A little bit about me

I am a young girl from Warrington a small town in between Liverpool and Manchester (so small we don't even have a primark) and im currently in high school. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, shopping, watching YouTube and using other social networking sites.

As I said I live in quite a small town, I'm not saying tiny just not as big as Manchester nor Liverpool so for fun me and my friends are all season ticket holders for our local Rugby League team Warrington Wolves. We go to every game that we can and see ourselves as big fans.
This picture was taken recently and it is me and a player Ben Currie (I think you can guess who's who)

Why I'm starting blogging and what about?

I have mainly started blogging as I mentioned before, to share my opinion and mainly for a hobby. I enjoy reading other peoples blogs and am inspired by them, hopefully this will help me on my way to creating an exciting blog that people will enjoy to read.

I will mainly write about things I get up to, clothes or makeup I'd like to share with you and other events that are exciting enough to write about.

Hope you enjoyed reading and this wasn't to boring, just a little starter. Thanks for reading, bye :) X
